Children Especially Toddlers Don’t Have a Clue of What is Healthy or Not. If it is Sweet, Taste Good, and Looks like It’s Not Good for You, Then They Will Eat It.
I love to trick (and treat) my children by making healthy snacks and using food coloring to change the look. They don’t care if it’s good as long as it doesn’t look good. I have just made these delicious muffins for them as an example. They are banana nut and apple cinnamon muffins with food coloring in them. Some are black, brown, orange, and a yucky color. I had to be quick in order to get the picture, because they wanted to eat them as soon as they came out of the oven. I hope you and your toddler will enjoy this recipe as well as my boys have.
