Halloween Activities for Adults Around Indianapolis

Sometimes it’s hard to find Halloween activities for adults unless someone you know is having a party. You don’t want to attend the Haunted Houses where high school girls are screeching, and lots of Halloween activities are focused on children only. However, Indianapolis and the surrounding suburbs have a lot to offer in terms of Halloween activities for adults. Such as fund raisers, 3 mile costume walk/run, a motown band, and more.

Run Like Hell is a 3-mile run or walk put on by the Tuxedo Brothers for those who are looking to get a little bit of exercise while partying for Halloween. It’s a twist on the normal 3-mile walk/run since you compete while wearing your costume. The race is done at White River Park in downtown Indianapolis and starts at 7pm on the 30th. This is a great way to get in the Halloween spirit before the 31st, and it provides you the opportunity to do something on both the 30th and something different on the 31st. There are awards for the best costumes in various categories, and after the race there will be food and drinks. Don’t think you want to run or walk, but you want to be involved? Have no fear they are in need of volunteers and you can still dress up. Check out the website for more information even including information about an epitaph contest.

Rathskeller is having the band ZannaDoo play on Halloween Evening from 7pm to 11pm. The band plays rock, disco, and motown music. Check out the bands website to see what they are all about, and look at Rathskeller website once it gets closer to October because they haven’t put up the information yet.

Ladies, if your looking for a Halloween night out with the girls you can’t miss “Women & Wine,” Spooky Wines for Halloween. It on October 15 at the Corner Wine Bar. It’s just $10 dollars for 4 wines and light snacks. So go get out for a night with just the girls for some relaxation and gossiping about males. Then go home and impress everyone with your knowledge of spooky wines that you can take to a Halloween party.

Are you trying to find a Halloween fund raiser to attend? Halloween Howl for the Riley’s Children Foundation is where you want to go on the night of October 16th. It is hosted at the swanky Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis from 7pm until midnight. This is a great way to get involved in a cause for Halloween and is also a great networking event to meet people from the surrounding Indianapolis Area. Go to their website for more information!
