Halloween is a great time for adults to get together and have a party. Halloween adult parties have become quite popular. People come in costume and play pretend for the night. Halloween parties should be full of entertainment, games, good food and drinks. Here are some great ideas for a fun filled adult Halloween party. The first thing you will need to do is plan your guest list. Once you have sent out your invitations and have a head count, then you will need to plan the activities and the menu. You can purchase great Halloween decorations, plates, napkins etc. at dollar, department or party stores.
Remember to specify on your invitations if this is a costume only party. Adding Halloween music to your party will give everyone put everyone in a festive mood. When I have a Halloween party I love to decorate the outside of the house and yard also. I hang ghosts, bats and pumpkins from tree limbs. Add candles to the insides of carved pumpkins for great outdoor decorations. No party is complete without some good food and drinks. So for food I serve mostly appetizers, finger foods and a couple of casseroles. People can grab what they want and sit where they want. Great ideas for foods are finger sandwiches, meatballs, cheese, crackers, chicken wings, pizza rolls, deviled eggs and vegetable trays.
Here is a recipe for a great easy to make hearty and delicious casserole.
Deviled crab casserole: The ingredients you will need are 1 can(16 ounces) of crab meat drained, 1 cup of dry bread crumbs, 3/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup chopped green onions, 2 hard cooked eggs chopped, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper, 6 tablespoons melted butter, 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/8 teaspoon mustard. Now in a bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix well. Cook for about twenty minutes on 425 degrees. This casserole is always a great hit at parties. For drinks I make a witches brew punch. I combine vodka, gin and rum in a bowl. Then I add green punch. I garnish the top of the punch with slices of banana, oranges and pineapples. Great party activities would include a Halloween costume contest, a dance contest, karaoke contest, pictionary and charades. An adult pumpkin hunt is a great idea. Buy some very small plastic pumpkins, fill them with candy and hide them around the yard. Who ever finds the most pumpkins gets a gift. You can also have a pumpkin carving contest. Have guests couple up. Let them carve out there own pumpkin. Remember to have small gifts for the winners. Halloween candles, pumpkins and bags of candy are great gift ideas.
