Healthy Halloween Trail Mixes

Halloween is a time when we think about sweet candy to eat. Should we be eating all that sweet stuff? Of course not, we all know healthy is better, but why should we give up great taste? We should not; we can have great tasting snacks with Halloween trail mix recipes I am going to share with you.

These trail mixes are also great to hand out to trick or treaters. When they come knocking on your door for candy, hand them a healthy snack bag instead. They will love it and return to your door the following year in hopes of getting more.

Halloween Trail Mix

Ingredients:

½-cup mini pretzel twists

½-cup cheese crackers

½-cup party nuts

½-cup dried fruits

Directions:

Put in a bowl with a lid and shake to mix.

Halloween Mix

Ingredients:

½-cup peanuts

½-cup raisins

½-cup oat cereal

½-cup cheese crackers

Directions:

Put mix in a bowl with a lid and shake to mix.

Halloween Nut Mix:

Ingredients:

½-cup cranberries

½-cup cashews

½-cup almonds

½-cup peanuts

Directions:

Put in a bowl with lid and shake to mix. My kids love this recipe.

Cereal Trail Mix:

Ingredients:

1-cup cheerios

1 cup corn puff cereal

1-cup raisin bran cereal

1-cup cheese crackers (optional)

1-cup Trix cereal

Directions:

Put in a bowl with a lid and shake to mix.
