Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios
It’s another year of ghoulish frightfests and fear-inducing scare zones, so be prepared for another year of scares from the masters at Universal Studios. Halloween Horror Nights features in 2016 include live shows such as the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure, along with the Reflections of Fear haunted house attraction. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
If you’re taking young kids out for Halloween in Orlando, you may need a milder version of the celebrations. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place on select dates through September and October, and runs from 7 p.m. to midnight. Be prepared for the kid-friendly ‘Spooky’ party in the Magic Kingdom and a Halloween-themed featuring all their favorite Disney characters. A Fear in the Forest in Altamonte Springs
The Fright Night crew sets up a complete haunted experience in Altamonte Springs, a short drive north of Orlando. You’ll get to walk through spooky cemeteries and explore an acre of haunted forest that will be filled with costumed actors dressed as monsters, ghouls, goblins and characters from horror movies. The trail is one of the scariest experiences in Orlando, so be prepared for the ultimate fear factor challenge. Terror Lagoon in Daytona Beach
Take a short drive east of Orlando to Daytona Beach for one of the ‘most terrifying haunted house experiences.’ The Terror Lagoon in Daytona Beach opens on October 10, 2016 and features attractions such as the Skull Kingdom, the Fear Cage and the Catacombs where you can explore some creepy galleries and explore an underworld graveyard. Be prepared for a haunting like no other!
Zoo Boo Bash at Central Florida Zoo
If you’re in the mood for some traditional trick-or-treating, head to the Central Florida Zoo for the Zoo Boo Bash. This family-friendly event features nonstop fun all day with a haunted hayride, themed tours of the zoo and plenty of trick or treat stations for filing up those goodie bags.
