Halloween Movie Festivals in Los Angeles

Shriekfest 2016

The 9th Annual Shriekfest Film Festival is the ultimate Los Angeles Horror and Sci-Fi event to attend in October. The opening night party is being held on October 1st at Hollywood Billiards. The festival runs from October 1-4, 2016 and tickets are around $8 a screening. Screenings are held at the Chaplin Theatre in Raleigh Studios at 5300 Melrose, Hollywood, CA. Screamfest Horror Film Festival

Screamfest is the perfect place to see Halloween movies in Los Angeles. The festival runs from October 16-25, 2016. It is held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. Screamfest tickets usually sell out quickly and attract some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Visit their official site to purchase a festival pass and check out pricing information. Individual film tickets are around $11.50 and a full festival pass is $300.

Halloween Horror at the Egyptian Theatre

The American Cinematheque will screen classic horror movies and have guest lectures in October and November. There will be a Dusk to Dawn Horror-thon starting at 7:30 p.m. on Halloween night. New Beverly Cinema

You can watch double features of Halloween movies for only $7 at New Beverly Cinema. This revival theatre will be screening Shaun of the Dead, Blacula, Teen Wolf and much more. Scary movie screenings are held all month long and a lot of people go dressed up in Halloween costumes. They have costume contests and give out prizes on Halloween night. New Beverly Cinema is located at 7165 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Screenings in Los Angeles

What is Halloween without a watching a midnight movie screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show? The Landmark Nuart Theatre has midnight screenings every Saturday night. Tickets are $10.50 and can be purchased in advance online or at the box office. Parking is available on neighborhood streets, so be sure to get there early to avoid any parking hassles. Landmark Nuart Theatre is located at 11272 Santa Monica Blvd in West Los Angeles.
