What would a Halloween party be without the perfect cocktails to be served to your guests? Not as happening as it could be, that’s for sure! Below you will find cocktails for adults that are suited for the night of frights. With tantalizingly scary names and a few choice pieces of servingware, these drinks could be the scream of the party. Consider yourself forewarned.. these drinks could cause a riot if you happen to run out!

Blood Bath (Adult single serve beverage)

4 oz. Beer
1.5 oz. Vodka
4 oz. Tomato juice
Dash of Hot Sauce (amount used will depend on how spicy the guest prefers it)
Salt & Pepper

Combine all ingredients, then garnish with a celery stick and lemon wedge.

Slitherin’ Jello Shots (Adult single serve shot)

3 cups Water
2 cups Vodka
3 packages Gelatin (any flavor)
Gummy Worms

In a saucepan, bring water the water to a complete boil. Add all packages of gelatin, stirring until completely dissolved. Continue to stir for 2-3 more minutes, then add vodka, stirring constantly. Pour into single serve containers (such as disposable condiment cups or something similar). Chill until they just start to firm, then add the gummy worms. Return to the refrigerator until entirely set.

Cider ‘n’ Spiders (Adult single serve beverage)

2 oz. Sour Apple Schnapps
2 oz. Wild Apple Vodka
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
2 oz. Apple Juice
Gummy Spiders

A few days before the festivities, fill an ice cube tray with water then drop 1 gummy spider into each ice cube slot. Fill a glass 2/3 full with spider cubes, then add the Schnapps, Vodka, Cranberry juice, and apple juice.

Severed Hand Punch (Adult multiple serving beverage)

1 bottle Vodka (750 ml)
2 (2 liter) bottles of clear Lemon and Lime Soda
Red food dye

To make the *severed hand:
Turn a latex glove inside out and thoroughly wash with warm soapy water, rinsing completely. Turn right side out, fill with water, then tie the opening in a knot. Freeze for a day or two, until entire hand is solid. When ready to serve with the punch, cut the glove away from the ice.

For the punch, add the vodka and lemon and lime soda to a clear serving bowl (try to keep the serving bowl as shallow as you possibly can without having the liquid fill it too much). Add enough red food dye to turn the liquid “blood red”. Set the ice hand in the center of the bowl so that it is standing with the fingers pointed toward the ceiling. Drizzle red food dye over the ice hand to create a “bleeding” effect.

Devil’s Kiss (Adult single serve beverage)

2 oz. Goldschlager
1/2 oz. Bacardi 151

Pour Goldschlager into a shot glass, then add Bacardi 151. The Barcardi will float on top. If you choose, you may light the 151 on fire when serving. This drink is named the Devil’s Kiss for the burning sensation it creates inside your body.

Caramel Apple Shot (Adult single serve shot)

1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
1 oz. Apple Pucker

Combine both in a shaker, then pour into a shot glass.

Hemorrhage (Adult single serve beverage)

2 oz. Peach Schnapps
2 tsp. Bailey’s Irish
4 drops Grenadine

In a large shot glass, pour the peach Schnapps, then add the Bailey’s Irish slowly. Top with the drops of Grenadine and serve.

White Zombie (Adult single serve beverage)

2 oz. Creme de Banana
2 oz. White Creme de Cacao
1 oz. Cream

Combine all ingredients and shake together gently, then pour over ice.

To make your drinks creepier, try freezing gummy or plastic insects, worms, or eyes into ice cubes. Garnish drinks with them, and watch your guests shy away. For punches, you can also make an ice ring by using a bundt cake pan. Freeze insects and the like into it, and enjoy the fest!
