Halloween Invitations for Those with a Budget

Making invitations could be a whole day project if you’re not very creative, and buying them could be a hassle if you’re pretty low on money. And then after you’ve made your card with colorful post it’s and sharpies, you get an invitation in the mail for your friends party, which looks like they had hallmark custom make their invitations. The truth is that there are so many cheap and even free ways to make invitations and cards, but nobody wants to do the research, so they just throw together something. Here’s some creative and cheap ideas for Halloween invitations or cards.

Owl Invitations are a creative invitation design done by Martha Stewart herself. On her website, you can go under crafts and download a free Owl template onto your computer, fill in the colors on PhotoShop, and then print it out on a thick paper. After that, just cut it out, and put it together following her simple and easy instructions. Then the only thing you would have to buy would be small envelopes, unless you already have them. Creating your own may seem like a lot of work, but if you have all of the tools you need to do this, then its going to be no problem. One creative way, is to to get a Halloween magazine and make a small collage on a 4 X 8 peice of paper, and it can either be of words that you put together, or just a bunch of decorative pictures. If you didn’t feel like putting in the time for this, you could just get orange peices of paper, cut around it evenly with pink sheers, so it has a cool cut out design, and put either stickers, or if you have great handwriting, you could just make it out all by yourself. It may not be the most fanciest, but if its creative enough, they will get over the expense part and want to make their own next year.

Shopping online is a great way if your just looking to pay a small fee and just have the invitations delivered at your door. With shipping and everything, it should be only under ten dollars. You can go on main card sites such as Hallmark, or Amazon.com has great deals on almost everything. Here’s a link to some invitations for only five dollars.

Use your own pictures. If your really into family pictures, then you can go on a website that makes baby announcements, and pick out your own design for a Halloween invitation. You can use any picture you want, it could be of your whole family, just the kids, or even just of yourself and send them out. Walmart has some great prices that you could do for under twenty dollars.

No matter what you do, as long as you put in either five minutes or five minutes, people will appreciate the fact that you sent out invitations, and the fact your inviting them to a party!
