Scary Halloween Events in Salt Lake City, Utah

Halloween events going on during the month of October. Some Halloween events are designed to be most appropriate for young children, but many older teens and adults would like to find more frightening Halloween events to attend during this time of year. If you are looking for Halloween events in the Salt Lake City area designed to be scary and appropriate for older teens and adults, the following guide may be helpful to you.

The Haunted Hollow at the American West Heritage Center – The hollow is considered to be quite scary at night, even without special Halloween effects. The Haunted Hollow is a Halloween event put on by the American West Heritage Center, and occurs on most Friday and Saturday nights during the month of October. This event is intended for older teens and adults, and is not appropriate for young children. The prices are very reasonable, and a combined Haunted Hollow and Corn Maze ticket is an even better deal. The American West Heritage Center is located at 4025 South Highway 89-91, in Wellsville, Utah. Castle of Chaos – Not your typical haunted house, this Halloween event is also designed to be very frightening and is not appropriate for children. The cast members of Castle of Chaos are trained in theory and movement, capitalizing on people’s worst fears and phobias. Castle of Chaos is claimed by many patrons to be the best, and most frightening haunt around. Various ticket options are offered, and prices are quite reasonable. Season passes are even available. Nightmare on 13th Another walk through haunted house attraction, Nightmare on 13th is another Halloween event that is best suited for older teens and adults. Although the videos on the website show children who appear to be quite young, possibly under ten years old, walking through the attraction, keep in mind that the Nightmare on 13th Haunted House attraction was named one of America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions by the Travel Channel. Prices for this Halloween event are a little high, but maybe with Travel Channel’s distinction, it’s worth it.
