  • It’s A Wonderful Life

Video.Google.com offers this Frank Capra 1946 film is a family classic. George Bailey, played by the wonderful Jimmy Stewart, takes a sentimental journey of his life after he misplaces a large sum of money at work and faces financial ruin. Clarence, his guardian angel, accompanies George as they take a trip down memory lane, guiding him through the ups and downs of George’s life. As the journey progresses, Clarence finally convinces George how valuable and important life truly is. Donna Reed plays his supportive and lovely wife. Over 2 hours in length.

  • A Christmas Story

This heartfelt movie from 1983 is a family classic and tradition. The film, from MGM, stars Darren McGavin, Melinda Dillon, Peter Billingsley and of course, the gaudy garter Leg Lamp (playing herself). Set in the 1940’s, all lovable Ralphie wants for Christmas is a Daisy Brand Red Ryder 200-shot range model air rifle BB gun, the holy grail of Christmas gifts. Ralphie has been scheming for weeks figuring out a way to cleverly get his unsuspecting parents to buy one of these BB guns. This touching and endearing film is just over one hour and 30 minutes. Be careful; don’t shoot your eye out!

  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph, a young reindeer, is different than other reindeer; his nose lights up and glows a brilliant red. The other reindeer tease him and he often feels left out. Watch the endearing and lovable red nosed reindeer find his special way. This classic animated movie with Burl Ives as Sam the Snowman, is just under an hour in length.

  • Frosty the Snowman

The charismatic Jimmy Durante is the narrator in this family classic cartoon. Watch as Frosty, a happy and jolly soul, played by Jackie Vernon, comes to life. Under 30 minutes.

  • A Christmas Carol

This animated 1972 version of the Charles Dickens classic features the voices of Alastair Sim and Michael Redgrave. Watch as crotchety old Scrooge transforms himself from an aging grouch, into a compassionate and caring man after 3 ghosts visit him on Christmas Eve. This Richard Williams production is under 30 minutes in length.

Go.Fish.com offers this 1966 animated classic by Dr. Seuss is available on Go Fish. The Grinch, played by Boris Karloff, uses every trick up his sleeve to ruin Christmas for the Whos in Whoville. Watch as the Grinch goes from grumpy to lovable in this Christmas classic.
